Highlights of the FB2

Design
The FB2 is a isel X/Y/Z multi axis unit constructed on the basis of a modular system with four axis controller and ball screw drives with a repetition accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm (positioning reproducibility). The linear slide bearing guides provides for a high angle accuracy of the axis.

Drive Control
The FB2 comes with a compact 4-axis ProMa Step 10-4 Stepper controller with Intergrated Win XP PC w/o monitor. Thus, the power electronics is thereby integrated in a housing and is connected to the control computer by the parallel interface. Hence, the positioning control itself is realized by means of the EdiTasc – Real time Controller/Operating Software.

Software
The FB2 is by default shipped with a basic version of the EdiTasc – Real time Controller/Operating Software
and CAM software. By the way, other optional NC software products like the Isy CAD/CAM 3.0D, ProNC or Galaad can be used by exchanging the positioning control. Furthermore, various import filters e.g. for HPGL data, DXF files or Corel files ensure a universal data exchange.
